About profile comparisons
A TraitTune comparison describes differences between self-reported assessment profiles. It does not establish why somebody behaves a certain way or what they intend.
The historical exploratory analysis
The archived analysis was run on 22 September 2026. Included profiles had completion dates between 25 May and 22 September 2026; these were observed dates, not an explicitly bounded date cohort.
The analysis selected one complete assessment profile per included account and compared every unordered pair of distinct profiles. These were pairings for analysis, not observed couples, colleagues or relationships. Each profile appeared in many comparisons, so comparisons were not independent observations.
Two different measurements
“Opposite sides” meant one displayed position was at least 50 and the other below 50. A score gap meant an absolute difference of at least 20 points on the 0–100 display scale, after rounding to one decimal place. Neither cutoff establishes a psychologically significant or practically important difference.
What the analysis cannot show
The selected users are not representative of the general population. Internal and test exclusions were applied, but their historical completeness could not be verified. Account identifiers do not establish unique people. The analysis contains no observed behavior, relationship outcomes or career performance.
Some aggregate calculations were recovered and checked; the original individual-profile calculations were not fully reproduced or refreshed. The figures in the guides describe this historical exploratory sample. These data are not proof that a trait causes conflict, silence, distress or boredom.
Guides offer questions and examples for reflection. A profile is not a diagnosis or a prediction of relationship or career success. Comparing with another person requires their consent.
